The current process of extracting botanicals typically ends with a liquid solution being dried under high temperatures. These high temperatures can produce a powder that meets the physical criteria of a product – e.g. - the right colour, the right consistency, etc. However, high temperatures have an unintended side effect: they can damage a botanical extract’s complex molecular structure.

The extract’s individual compounds work on the body’s receptors because of their chemical structure. Damage this structure and you compromise a product’s efficacy. Simply put, the product is not as effective.
